Oy! Its been a long day.
Bev came home and caught my mistake. I'm going nuts trying to find out what's wrong with Barbie. The brake light is on and dinging at us with a message of take in immediately for service.

I see. Hopefully, nothing serious and she will get well soon.
I'd love to take her pictures at night next week at the meet. See you then.

Oh no! I hope she's ok! Cricket hopes she makes a quick recovery.

That may or may not fix the problem, but it is worth a try.

Um........... Perhaps you should talk to Kurt and look at the 2nd Gen forums before you make that statement.
Haven't spoken with Kurt but I did search the forums and as near as I can tell it's an electrical problem that's common on the 2nd generation MINIs. SZL (steering angle sensor)? But I'm not having all the symptoms so we'll see. Taking her in tomorrow.
I did finally find the well hidden brake fluid reserve and it's full, thanks for the suggestion Chris.
Sorry for being off topic. Should I start a new thread titled Woe is Me?
