You can add me to the list. Alexandria City vs. the Alexandria portion of Fairfax. Landmark area since 87.

Well, there's six people who should be able to make it to my cookout the 29th, a DCMM event right in your backyard! :-)

I work in old town. Does that count?

LOL that depends on your perspective. I enjoy the simpler traffic, easier parking, and super-fast access to 495 where I am now.

I have friends who live in Alexandria though (independent of DCMM).

I used to live in the 900 block of S. Washington St, right next to the cemetary (and WW bridge). I work in Crystal City and for a couple years could bike to work everyday. Talk about good traffic!

FelixFJ40 Sep 20, 2007 11:56 AM

I live in Del Ray and work across from the King St. Metro. I WALK to work on nice days.

Yeah, that traffic sure is bad.

I cycled to work for about 6 years when I worked in Crystal City. Good times.

Yeah, and my car is hard to miss. I'm just so busy that it stays parked at my house or my office most of the time.

defylogik Sep 24, 2007 03:18 PM
