Five years ago, I saw a fashion spread in the NY Times Sunday magazine. It featured anorexic models, driving around the Italian coast in a very cool looking car.
Upon following the search directions, I found out it was a MINI and there was a dealership not 10 minutes from my house. Needless to say, I bought one.
August marks my last car payment, and now MY S is all mine!:grin::thumbsup:

congrats!! we paid off our '06 MCS in February, many years ahead of schedule. Awesome feeling.....I've never paid off a car before. :eek: I always get bored and sell well before the title comes after a final payment. :lol: Let's hope no car payment and a super cool highly modded car is enough to ward off the siren's call of an inline six twin turbo, 6sp and AWD from the other side of MoS. :wink:

That "other" side of MoS leads to fear...fear leads to anger...anger leads to hate...and hate leads to the dark side! Don't do it! :eek2:

I was able to pay off SHADOWFAX when we sold our house in April. What a beautiful feeling seeing $18K of debt gone in an instant. I plan on enjoying the lack of monthly payments for quite some time (so I can use the cash flow for more mods! :grin: )

me neither. I've always traded former cars in at 3 years.

Congrats!!! I can't wait for my payments to end, 8 months 2 go.

This is my first new car so it will be a very nice feeling when I pay it off.
