OPEN to anyone now!

I just registered this morning, and verified that the event is open to ALL, regardless of where you got your Mini = )

You can email Brad Bornman at Brad.Bornman@minitowson.com to sign up, and you can find the events page at http://www.minitowson.com/Events.aspx (where you will also be instructed to email Brad, or call at 410-296-6464 (MINI) )

Whoo hoo, I'm excited!!!

After what we have done to improve the performance of our Minis, lets get out, test our rides and have some fun.

Thats the part I get!

I meant more of how the day went, how the instruction is given, etc. Big group instruction sitting outside? Small groups? Does it take the whole day for each person, or is the event usually broken up? That kind of stuff...not that it changes my willingness or excitement to go, but I just like to know!

Call up Towson, they're going to know infinitely better than anyone on here would.

Aww come now.. you know im bringing 4 rolls of Duct tape to strap you to your seat. then glue your hands to the steering wheel and stick shift. Give you a Full tank of gas and you must keep doing the course over and over until you run out of gas.

If not were going to make you Drive around in a 1988 Yugo with no AC for the next Month

(pretty much this is how my farther taught me to drive except "IF NOT" car was a 1972 Ford LTD station wagon with a busted Power steering pump and brake booster. oh and yes no AC either)

P.S.
This response has no connection with the event or MINI of Towsand

If you need more info
http://solo.wdcr-scca.org/noviceSchool.php

Also, ask about CG Locks - They might have it for sale.. Cheap investment very useful for every day driving too... ( but it does leave marks on the back of your seat if you use every day as I do.)

I wish I could attend !!!

PS: a FULL tank of gas??? ...why the extra weight?

Oh heck no.. thats why i brought 4 rolls.. the person riding Shotgun has been Mummified with duct tap with exception of his right eye, left ear and has a teather ball attach to the roof infront of him. This way it hits him during turns , starts and stops.

Now that it's open to everyone, do they allow any car? I'm kinda afraid about auto-xing my mini. I'm picking it up tomorrow, so it will prolly be on it's first tank of gas still this weekend.

I'm in. Anyone else heading up from NoVA/DC?

I'm signed up. Looks like it's about a 90 minute drive from here (Arlington, VA). Thought I'd leave as early as 5a or so.

Anyone else heading up and interested in driving together?
