Dixie National Tour Results GS
Well, after the 1st day in GS the Mini's are on top. Actually, there are only Mini's in GS at the Dixie NT, so, thats a given I guess. Anyway, the course is a very fun and fast slalom/transitional intensive course with basically a straight away down with a couple transitions with a turn-around and slaloms back with one transition and a chicago box. The leading time in GS in a 38.975. here are the results of the top 4 that I remember.
Mathew Jensen 40.5 +1, 39.4, 38.975
Per Oshlof(spelling?) 41.X, 39.0XX, 39.4 +1
Jeremy *** 40.5, 39.275, 39.X
Craig Wilcox 40.2, 40.0, 39.732
All I can say is Mathew Jensen, my co-drive, must have drove the tires off the car before I got in, because, he is laying the smack down on me. Ibasically felt I drove OK with only a .2-.3 slight boblle on my last run and the Way Motorworks car felt really good, so, I have no idea where he gained .767 on me, maybe I'm just too fat, lol, one thing we noticed was that from the start he was on the rev limit and I wasn't before the first major transition. :-) Anyway, I have a lot of ground to make up tomorrow so I am doing a rain dance tonight to hopefully shake things up a bit.
Anyway, I will update tomorrow night late probably.

I'd say Matt is in the top 10 for sure. I do know Ian Stewart in a GT3 is SS ran a 36.X, so, that is probably a good bit better than GS. Its a higher HP wide open slalom transition course, so, I would guess the top PAX will end up with several higher HP.

Well, day 2 ended with disappointment, although, I drove much better today than yesterday, so, I am happy that I was able to get the cobb webbs out, it can only get better from here. ;-)
Per Olof 1st overall day 2 ? ? 39.0XX
Matt Jensen 2nd day 2 SPIN 39.2XX SPIN
Jeremy *** 3rd 39.3+2 39.3 38.9XX
Craig Wilcox 39.7+1 38.8 38.488
Jensen was only back 0.060
*** was behind Jensen 0.025
I was behind *** 0.018
Per laid down that last run to take the win, it was very exciting. On my final run(last car in class), I knew I nailed a good one so I was anticipating the time to be close, when I saw the time, I was excited, only to realize I fell just short of coming back from my Saturday deficit. I would really like to say thanks to Way Motorworks for loaning Matt and I the car, it was setup perfectly, I just wish we would have drove a tenth or so faster. ;-)Anyway, I'll be off to San Diego for the National Tour in March where I will have a nice new fresh set of Hoosiers waiting, so, I'm closing the book on this one until next season where hopefully I can return to the Dixie Tour to try again! ;-)

What's the fun in that, I go every now and then . Course that .060 is seriously making me think I need to make a track out to SD and get the Qualcomm monkey off my back (ie no more 10 cone days!). Any got a co-drive, otherwise guess I'll be playing locally in Atl that weekend.
