My new to me BBS SR wheels I'll be running in the summer

Gonna put some new rubber on them since the tires that it came with are bald and too low profile. I purchased Red BBS center caps for them too.

17x7.5 ET35

also if anyone knows, these wheels came with TPMS for a BMW 335.....any shot they are compatible with the R60? Looking to see if I need to purchase new sensors, or thinking of having them coded out.

Where are you located? I have 4 TPMS that I ordered on eBay and which I don’t need since my Canada spec R60 has a “flat tire monitoring” system vs TPMS. You can have them for the price of shipping.

Chances are the TPMS on the rims are going to work with your car. You can check part numbers on realoem.com

dmath Mar 19, 2019 08:15 PM

Looking forward to seeing them on your car.

 waiting for the reveal!

snwmble Mar 20, 2019 01:42 PM

Mounted them up and I must say the size, offset, tire size is exactly what I was looking for. Running the following:

17x7.5 BBS SR ET35
225/55/17 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

And again thanks Eric for the TPMS, I installed those when mounting the tires and no tire light!

SO, how do you like those Firehawk Indy's? Those are on my list of new tires for my new wheels.

Ive been running them for a couple years on one of my bmws, and give nothing but praises for them. I have Michelin Pilot super sports on my bmw m3 and they are just as sticky for a fraction of the price....not to mention they look good! Best value for some awesome tires

ekim Jun 3, 2019 07:43 AM

I have a very slight rub when I hit a pot hole in the back with the 235's. I have since put 2" blocks to raise the back end as I need to install a hitch and there are times I carry 300+ of music gear. Problem solved. My rims are +35, +40 would have cleared but would be a bit snug on the inside with my 2012 CMS
