Hello,
May I ask what brand roof rack that is? Not the basket.
It's not the Mini brand because the horizontal bars extends past the vertical clamp post.
Thanks, Rodney

Lifted or not?

i would have guessed you could go larger on the tire? like 215/75R16?
Hello,
You are able to run 205/70R16 on a Countryman without being lifted?
Do you think the 215/70R16 TA's would fit on a non-lifted Countryman with rubbing?

Thanks, Rodney

Large diameter tires

Hello,

Does anyone know what is the largest tire in diameter that can be run on a Countryman All4 without rubbing.
I have 17" wheels but looking to buy 16" wheels and run 215/70r16 big ta's.
Can I use this without the lift from cooper crap or M7?
I would probably put the lift on later; but I need to buy new tires now!

Thanks for for help.

With the M7 Speed 2” kit Tire Max is 28.5". Above that ECS wheels spacers and trimming the wheels arches are needed. Dont know what the stock height can run( no lift kit), I imagine far less.

rodney,
offset will be the final factor ... i have 16x6.5 et 46 wheels with 205/70R16 tires (27.3 inch OD) and have less than .25 inch clearance to suspension on the inner side of the tire

height wise 215/70R16 should fit no problem

do you have pics of your setup? Do the wheels bottom out in the fender at any point? I am lowered on hr springs ATM but just found out I will be moving to Alaska, and am rethinking the idea of the street look for up there, my not be as effective

my 12 cms all4 has the factory sport suspension that sits 10 mm lower tham the standard suspension.
no rubbing anywhere ... at the tire store, we put 4 ea 200 pound people in the seats and 2 ea more sitting on the open boot edge ... the suspension was on the bump stops all 4 corners ... no rubbing at full lock both directions, no rubbing on wheel well liners ... 215/70R16s did rub the liners with the 1200 pounds of people aboard, just touched, standard suspension might clear

Love the look and the fit! If I may ask, was the 40 offset in the wheels? Or was the 40 offset a combination of wheel position & spacers?
