Don't know much about tires, help is appreciated!

2013 Countryman S, 6sp, not all4. Need a fresh set to get me through the next year until I turn in the car for the '16 or '17.

Running the anthracite turbo fans at 18s, and won't be changing those. Despite everything I read about ride quality / road noise, etc, I like the run flat for piece of mind. Road noise doesn't bother me since I have a roof rack that makes plenty of noise on it's own.

That said, I am ok with the 225/45/r18 that came with the car, but would be open to changing to a 50 if that would improve either handling or ride quality...or even fill the wheel well a bit more.

Thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
