Anyone run a tire wider than a 225?
I know... anything over 27.7 would need cut work.
That 215 geolander should work, but if ive learned anything from these forums, its to do youre own research... i ended up with 2 sets of tires that needed to be returned because i took someones word for it...

frstrtdmac: i apologize if my wording is ambiguous. Sometimes tone is tough to interpret through text. No problems here. Im good. Thanks for the complements.
It rides pretty smooth. Not as tight cornering as stock(some roll at high speeds) Breaking feels a bit top-heavy. Acceleration, i dont think, feels much different. Biggest plus is the confidence you have when hitting gravel or loose stone roads with big pot holes and debris in the way. Not a speed performance upgrade at all, but does help with the more off-road stuff.

Thanks for the info KidLuck. I'm looking at a 245/40/19 that has a section width (the widest part of the tire) of 9.6" which is just narrower than your tires which are 9.8" but also a full inch less diameter (26.7" vs your 27.7") - but still larger than the stock 25.9" tires.
I've recorded as many different specs from other CM owners as I could, and ran them all through the offset calculator to see what fits and where the limit is. This setup has only 2mm less clearance than the wheel/tire setup that NM Engineering sells for the CM, so I should be good. Our car gets here in two weeks so I'm going to order the wheels/tires any day now so they're be here waiting for the car.
