If my panties were in a bunch I'd use this face...

But if you notice, I used this face... Which means I was

As for your reading comprehension, the owner of the car with 20s is minie, which isn't me. See how you can match up the picture to the user name?

If you say that Kid Luck's CM looks "tight", and that minie's looks "barf" then I guess you must be right. Thank you for appointing yourself judge and telling all of us (who are obviously mentally inferior to you, and incapable of forming our own opinion) which looks better. And again...

One of her exact quotes was "I don't know why they waste their money on that stuff, because it doesn't impress me at all." I felt like telling her the obvious: that no young guy with a modified car gives a rat's *** about what some crabby old lady thinks of his car.

Some people crack me up, they are so caught up in themselves that they truly believe that their personal taste is always the best. And the funny thing is that the people that do something different and original are always open minded and positive toward other's ideas. They are intelligent enough to realize that different people have different taste, and that the world doesn't revolve around them.

Yet the boring, grouchy people, who are content to be sheep and drive around in a car that is no different than all the others that rolled out of the factory, have the audacity to insult people who dare to be different. Gee, wouldn't the world be exciting if everyone drove the same old plain brown Camry or Taurus and they were all the same because nobody had the creativity to be different from the rest of the flock?
You sorta contradict your self when talking about being different. I look at it this way, when I was a kid the hot thing was a coontail on the antenna. Furry dice from the rear view mirror and fender skirts/ Most of us gearheads then laughed at such stuff, but, in their own sort of way they felt they were making their ride stand out, which it did not for sure.If it came from JC Whitney or Western Auto, they bought it.
Today, with all the advanced tech available at our fingertips, lots of choices that really DID make a difference in handling, road gas consumption and larger brakes, with larger wheels, things DID and or do make for something special, your signature in making things better. Its the smart Guys that take home the gold, every time, and , I am one of them old farts you speak of, at 71 years young ! ( You should see my off road rig )

I am new to the Mini, but in the case of my Suzuki Samurai on/off road ride, when I did a 5" lift SPOA with 32" super Swampers i had to use billit machined 1 1/4 inch spacers on the front to keep from hitting the springs in a tight turn. I found that the wider track in front really helped under-steer/ over ,and bump steer also.It was very critical with so short a WB., Now it drives on the road like a go kart with my 1.6 16 valve stuffed in under the hood. Most people when using spacers go for all four, I am glad I did not. Same may apply with the CM , tomorrow I go to p/u the little Monochromatic Red ride, we will see down the road later maybe if I decide to swap out wheel and tire sizes. For sure I will order Nokia winters asap , size of tire remains to be seen. The taller the better for ground clearance, I care less about fancy wheels, just simple stock alloys I ordered.
