Summer Tires good with rain

Hi all,
Its time to start looking for summer tires! I have a set of winter wheels tires on right now so I would like to get some new summer tires ready for when the thaw comes. First of all, some info:

I have an All4 S with the sport suspension and sport package (18" wheels). I am stationed in Germany so I will see a lot of rain. I DO NOT want run flats.

So all I am looking for is a high performance summer tire that has just as much grip in the wet as it does in the dry.

Any suggestions?

Michelin Pilot Super Sport seems to be leader of the pack for wet and dry
summer tire performance in 225/45/18 size.

Here's a nifty chart:

I think most of the summer tires grip good both in dry and wet conditions.
I have Yokohama s drives and I love 'em.

Another vote for the s.drives. Great wet traction and deep sipes.

Here's another chart for UHP summer tires if you want to go one step less aggressive
than Max Performance summer tires:

The S-drives did reasonably well here on the surveys. Only the very noisy BFG G-Force KDW 2 did significantly better in the wet in this group.

I have used Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec UHP tires in heavy rain in autocross competition and they were terrific. Also don't hydroplane much at 60 mph in torrential rain. This was at about 50 deg. F; if the temperature gets much lower than that the compound doesn't work well.
