Have a '12 CM on order with 18" run flats (225/45 R18) that should arrive in 6 week that I will be replacing with Michelins. Tires located in Greenville SC for pick up and willing to meet halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte or ship ground. Taking offers at patrick.kirby@att.net.

I would think if he pays you $50/tire to take them off his hands that would be a fair price.

I would not take them unless he paid at least $100 per tire.... They are that bad.

Just ditched mine and um, yeah, no don't want RFs ever again...
The tire shop has mine. If anybody wants them, 17 inches of pure suspension killing horror, I will give you the information.... I didn't even want them to come home with me. They have about 4500 miles on them so most of their short life is probably gone already LOL...

Who the hell even invented this junk anyhow?????

If anyone is interested I just got the CM and it came with Goodyear Efficient Grip run flats 224/45R18. Tires are located in Greenville SC, will consider offers over $500 for the set.

Best to off load them on some econo box tuners that would think its just cool to have run flats and don't care about the ride quality. Might be hard to find a buyer here due to their bad reviews here.

The new Goodyear 18" RFs are much better than the RFs I have on my 2 Cabrios. But they are still RFs.

I replaced the RF's on my MCS with 150 miles on the car and it was the best thing I ever did. I hear people on here all the time talking about rattles and squeaks and I would bet anything that most of them are the result of the rough ride with the RF's.

For those that have replaced early, are you getting dinged for the tpms rebuilds? I was going to do mine at birth but local tire shop still wanted to do rebuild on new sensors, just curious if everyone else was hearing that.

I don't remember having any issues with TPMS when I swapped mine out.

I was also able to get $400 for my 18" RFs on craigslist, and they had about 3k miles on them. Just about paid for the Continental all-seasons I replaced them with. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

And will the tire pressure sensor still work and be ok?

The smartest option with the run flats is to hold on to them for another year or two, when people leasing need to start returning their vehicle and realize they have to have the same tires in good condition, you will be able to get a lot more for them.

I sold mine OEM RF's with 19K miles on them to an individual who was about to turn in his leased MINI. There is a demand for these tires!

I am picking up my car Monday and going strait to the tire shop to put on a set of Potenza RE050A Pole Positions. I have the Dueler H/P Sport RFT 225/45R18 that will have less than 20 miles on them when I do the swap. I would be happy to sell the set for $400 plus shipping or pick up. I am swaping because I want a better ride along with all the other benefits of having non run flats.

So what do you do about a spare when you ditch the RF's?
