New R60 owner! -Intercooler question-

I just bought a 2012 Countryman S ALL4 manual! I am looking to do some mods to the Countryman. It seems to be hard to find a used R60 aftermarket IC. Does anyone know if the R56 FMCI fit the R60 without issue?

Yes they will fit. Plus if you don't mind saving money they start around$169 on eBay and up.

Just took the helix FMIC off my R55 and put it onto my CMS. Fit just fine.

The front bumper comes off pretty much the same as the R55/R56, but the fender liner has different pop rivets from the R56. ECS Tuning has them, get a few because you are going to break them.

They look the same, I have installed the real and eBay ones and the EBay ones have a very soft metal. The whole IC feels so cheap and you can bend the whole thing with your hands mQubed Motorsport, Manic Tuning Dealer

i thought this one was the closest, "looks" like the wagner one. Warner is the FMIC i would go with.

How well does the Wagner fit? Any trimming needed or straight bolt on?

I have a wagner, not modification required, direct replacement.

+1 for the Wagner on fitment and quality. The JCW intercooler is another OEM+ mod for a high flow.

Flows more and effectively vs stock, ask Mario above for the manic, my guess is it only gets better with a tune.

intercooler

There was a thread I read comparing the different intercoolers. The stock intercooler itself got hot relatively quickly but cooled down quickly as well and did very well in this comparison test. With some searching you may be able to find it.
