I was nearly decided on the VIP exhaust, but now I'm not sure. I like that the VIP cuts out the 2nd cat, but I suppose I could just ask the muffler shop to put a straight pipe in during the install. Very curious to see how it sounds. Looks much lighter than the VIP, though the pipe diameter is slightly smaller.

I like that the VIP is all stainless and uses v-band clamps. Plus no cat :D

exhaust is next on my list, would be nice to see a comparison between all the exhausts available for the r60, vip nm, jcw and borla.

We've shipped a couple so hopefully one of those customers can do a sound clip for us. With the NM quality this is going to be sweet.

My NM exhaust was delivered today, all I need now is to take delivery of my CMS! It's about a 1 hour install, going to pay to have installed... Hopefully this weekend, but I also have tint and stripes to install. What to prioritize❔

I'm excited to hear it... Although my setup is done for exhaust, I really like NM Eng's products and I'm sure this is no exception to the impeccable quality all of their other products have.

Exhaust, yes got that!

For your viewing and listening pleasure I've posted 3 videos/sound clips on You Tube.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Sargent577?feature=mhee

Comments from my installer, a well put together kit.

The exhaust sounds great and at freeway speed I did not hear any drone. Driving around town with the radio down and in Sport mode, you can definitely hear the exhaust pop and burble as I come down in speed. The radio covers up the exhaust note if needed, but it sounds so cool! I am really curious what it will sound like in about a month....

That looks and sound good. Any chance of a few drive by clips? Maybe in a month once it's broken in

Fills up the wells nicely, Eddie. This is how the Countryman should look from the factory. It matches the car (particularly yours) so well it looks OEM.

Very nice! Pretty sure this is the exhaust I'm going to order.

I was thinking I'd want the muffler shop to cut out the resonator, 2nd cat, or both during the install. Pros/cons? I don't know how restrictive the resonator is, but I figured leaving it would help with any drone that would otherwise show up. As close as it is to the 2nd cat, I don't know whether that's feasible.
