Christmas Toy Drive
 

It's that time of year and here come the Holidays! My wife and I thought the club should help with the Toy Drive for Pine Ridge... maybe make this an annual happening. Why? Because this isn't a well known and highly publicized drive to bring some smiles to childrens faces for Christmas.

So meet us at Doubletree of Downtown Omaha on December 1st at 2PM with new unwrapped toys. The hotel is having a raffle for a weekend getaway and a gift certificate to their restaurant for those that donate toys. The raffle prizes will be announced on Dec. 8th on 89.7 FM The River radio station.

After we drop off the toys we could find an adult beverage downtown and socialize a bit if we're interested.

Sounds like a nice idea. I've got my Mother coming in for a visit during that time and that would be the main weekend that I need to get my Christmas light shows up and running. If I can get away, I'll try to make it, but no guarantee.
