Man! I'd sure reconsider. The '06 models are near bullet proof. Can't you just put it in a barn and bury it in hay for a few years? They got barns and hay in NE I'm sure. It'll be worth a fortune down the road as the new stuff starts to fall apart.

PS: Extrememly fine looking motor. Would be very tempted if I were in the market.

Forgot to update this. The MINI sold about 3 weeks ago. Very very sad to see it go. I am sure we will be back in one in a few years.
