We'll be making a run up to Verdigre Nebraska for the 43rd annual festive celebration of Verdigre's Czech heritage, better known as Kolach Days! This will be an overnight trip, so if you're interested in spending the night with us at Mill Iron V Lodge cabins, post soon for the last cabin available. We have a pair of cabins reserved. We'll be stopping at Ponca State Park, so a Nebraska State Park sticker will be needed, or you can get them at the gate as we enter. Lunch in Vermillion South Dakota. We've found a vineyard to stop at to taste the local wines as we head to Verdigre Saturday afternoon and check out the Kolach festival.

Sunday we'll stop at Ashfall Fossil Beds and see what's new, then motor home.

This is your typical C.O.R.N. tour so expect gravel, mud, and sand. Might even be a campfire with adult beverages and merriment Saturday night.

June 9th we'll start in Blair NE at Petro Mart just off highway 30 on the east side of town, south side of the highway. Address is 150 Eastgate St, Blair NE. We'll go north from there up to Jackson NE to see some windmills, then Ponca State park so we can cruise the park roads, then westward to find lunch on the way to Verdigre.

We have 3 MINIs going, room for more! Ya don't have to make it an over night trip, join us for the cruise saturday and take off for home when you need to. Just an option...

What time do we gather at the start point?

How much is for a cabin? If still available.

 

All the cabins are rented as of a week ago. You could try the motels in Niobrara. Verdigre is about 15 minutes away.

That's what I did last time, and probably will do this time. Works out fine.
