MINI Cooper S MIA!!!
Hey, just to let everyone know(and people in Lincoln), my mini was stolen tonight. Around 10:30 it was taken from the driveway of the house i was at. Which started in half my fault anyway cause i was getting ready to leave so i went and started it. I then went in to say my goodbyes, and went outside within a minute. I notified the authorities, but if anyone sees it around Lincoln(or surrounding areas) just let them know. Just feel helpless and thought that this would help me vent. thanks for listening

ooooch!!!!! I feel for you. But can you blame the jerk who stole it. He/she had the oppurtunity of a lifetime.......that's no Ford Escort there my friend. I hope the jerk just wanted to feel the rush without hurting your car, parked it ever so gently and left you gas money for your troubles. goodluck!!!!!!!

Did a search on Lincoln Journal Star. At least you have good news about your keys. Do you know anyone with a beard and a cut on his lip? Hope they find your car. LINCOLN Journal Star article.

Come to think of it I saw a smoking white civic going West from 27th and Fletcher this morning from I-80 on my way to the dealership in Omaha. If I had known that was the guy that stole your car I would have taken part in the stop. I was not driving the MINI this morning. I think the civic would have had a problem taking on a Dodge Ram.

1011 had my MINI on Crime Stoppers...
Part of me wants them to find my car, but after thinking about it, I really dont want that one back because it will have been driven terribly. I was really surprised tho, how quick the guy was able to get it into reverse. My brother borrowed it when he was working on his Lightning, and had the toughest time finding reverse. I dont know, must have gotten lucky.

I've started mine and left it running for a short period of time too but I leave the club on the wheel, at least that deters the potential "just walking by" thief.
My buddy's van got stolen and he found it about 4 miles from his house a week later, it was the only vehicle on the parking lot to have snow on it. The thief was kind enough to have locked it so all his tools were still there.
Glad to hear you've found your bird, hopes she unharmed....

Hey guys sorry this took so long to do, but school has been hectic(trying to get scholarships done). Insurance had my mini sent to Omaha to see if anything was wrong with it other than all the missing stuff, and they only found a leaking power steering pump so that was some what nice to hear. As the stuff that Mr. Daniel Snyder made off with, none of it has been recovered. He took everything in the car that wasn't attached some how to it, like: money, checkbook, pair of Oakley sunglasses, winter coat, CDs, ashtray, rubber trays that go under the front dash and by the hand brake, all my factory manuals, registration and insurance cards, my subwoofer wiring(luckily i took the subs out for that weekend cause i had to give people rides), and the carpet that covers my battery in the boot. He did happen to leave my ice scrapper and some random Zippo lighter that wasnt in the car before. There wasnt any damage to the body so that was nice to hear, but there were two flat tires and one had a big chuck of curb in it. My exhaust hanger is broken too. I took some pictures, but my computer is being a POS so i will have to upload them at a later date. So thats the news on what happened, now i am just waiting to hear from Markel and insurance. Oh and i have to attend the hearing in Lincoln in a couple weeks so i can testify that it was my car he stole. Cya later
hopefully it doesnt take half a month to reply back to everyone next time.
