It rained, truck started to look clean. Took the 4X4 to the quarry. drove through it. It's back to it's glorious condition again. I am not OC. Mini is garaged and never runs in rainy conditions, that is it never gets realy dirty. Again, not OC.

Guess it may be a while before this sub forum takes off.

I Love my mini Cooper!

What modifications can you make to your mini without voiding the full maintenence warranty? probably not to much huh?

Well, some of us are not really concerned with the factory warranty. I refuse to wait for my warranty to expire before having fun with this car. I have plans. They are extensive. The car and possibly the world, may never be the same again. MUWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :)

too much?

AliceCooperWA 03-20-2007 11:32 AM

It can never be too much.

I've heard a lot of folks stories that even with their aftermarket accessories; some of the dealers aren't even questioning the warranty options. If something goes wrong and it was installed professionally, they'll still check it out.?

I used to spend time on the NewBeetle forum. There was lots of discussion there about things to do to the turbo charged bugs, but not too much for the normally aspirated cars. Seems like we might have the same thing going on here.

My Cooper is going to be an automatic so it's safe to assume 'high performance' won't be part of the overall picture for it. However, a good cat back exhaust migh be a welcome addition down the road.

Without a turbo, chipping the thing probably wouldn't be of much use. At least this is what I think is true. I'd sure like to hear other opinions on this.
