bike carbs on R50?

Hi guys. Just curious - anybody ever run a bike carb setup on an R50? I'm aware there might be a little fabrication involved. Looking at a possible 2002 R50 with a fried harness, ecu, small fire. Simplicity would be nice being an old school kind of guy, ha ha

Going to move this to the Mod section.

Would think the fabrication was the easy part with the getting the ECU to work correctly being the difficult part.

carbs on R50

Thanks for the reply. An aftermarket ign would probably be easiest. I was thinking maybe someone might've used this setup in some sort of racing application

Somewhere in the archives of this site is a picture of this - carbs on a R50. It looked to be a pair of side drafts. Velocity stacks pointing straight forward. Looked badass. The intake sound would be amazing!

Right. The synchronization of four carbs would be a good hobby to take up in addition to your ole house in PDX.

Easy to sync with a set of carb sticks. Would have to have access to hook up the vacuum lines in the intake boots from the carbs. That'd be the easy part of this whole mod
