Junkyard S brake swap completed!
 
I managed to score a lightly used set of pads, rotors and caliper brackets for free from a friend who upgraded to a JCW set so I went for it!

All you need are the brackets from an S. The calipers are the same part number.

It doesn't look like much and truly I guess it's only a half inch or so of rotor but it seems to make a difference. Anyway, that's what I did with my cooper today!

More braking power is always good. Did Blue Ridge Parkway Tour a couple of weeks back. In our group that did some off-BRP runs was a Justa. On the curves that car handled really great. Curves really equalize cars.
