aFe 51-11151 Stage 1 Air Intake
 

Does anyone have an aFe 51-11151 Stage 1 air intake fitted to their R50? I've been thinking of buying one, and would appreciate any feedback from someone that has used one.

I have the Pro 5R. It lets air in and when at wide open throttle it makes a fantastic sound. Not sure if there is any actual HP gains but I was able to find one for about $125 or something - that as several years ago. It fits well and does seem to block out the vast majority (or at least some) of the hot air from the engine. The sound at WOT is what makes this worth the money though.

So, this is from my track day last year. The mic is under the hood so it is a LOT louder than what you will actually experience but you should get an idea of what you are in for.
When you blip the throttle when you are at a stop, you will hear a little gasp of air from the front end as well.
