I have a 2002 mini cooper r50 non S and i have a thrush muffler along with a resonator delete. I was wondering if anyones done a cat delete on there non s yet and has a video of what it sounds like. Car sounds great but i just want to get a little more volume out of it and maybe some more crackles. Liquid yellow 2002 mini cooper non S

 

I have not heard of anyone doing this... it would be louder and certainly not pass any emissions tests that your state may require. It would also throw up a check engine light.

 

I wouldn't recommend it as it will be really loud. Give you a check engine light, and isn't going to give you power

sorry , just now seeing this. no i did not ever follow through with this as i now have a '12 jcw model instead.
