2006 r50 non s

I just got a 2006 r50 automatic and was going to get a afe intake and sprint booster. But I was wondering in order for me to get the sprint booster, do I need to tune my car or I can just install the sprint booster with out a tune?

My understanding is that the Sprint Booster is a plug-and-play. All it really does is make your accelerator peddle more sensitive. 3/4 throttle become full throttle when set on it's most aggressive setting. Not worth the money in my opinion but nearly everyone that has one loves it. I have the aFe in my car, love it and I suspect you will love that, too.

Welcome to the forum, let's see some photos! I had a sprint booster in my '02 R50 and it made a pretty significant difference. I never regretted spending the money.

check out the DDM intake as it works better than the Afe

Then wait on the Sprint Booster as the intake will help throttle response. But if you want more after that we can get you one or do a tune for you.

I had an aFe on my R50. The shield rubbed up against and affected the switch for my reverse lights. Does the shield on the DDM have the same issue?

Odd... mine doesn't rub on any wires.
