Rusty subframe?

Rusty subframe?
While I've had my engine out for my rebuild I decided to get rid of all...I mean all...of the rust on my subframe, suspension bits and other chassis components by sand blasting and powder coating everything. I was pretty surprised by how much rust I found under there and figured some of you may have the same challenges.
It may seem expensive but if you do it in batch it's quick cost effective and far more durable than paint. Having the engine out certainly made it easier to access everything, however most of the parts I did have blasted could be accessed from below if you have access to a lift.

All of our Mini's have rusty bottoms....everything that is painted black and on the bottom of the car is rusty....drives me a little crazy....if I had access I'd do what you're doing. Planning on experimenting with fluid film....just learned about it....probably too late to do any real good though.
