Rear sway and torque arm insert have been my 2 favorite mods so far.

+1 on the Torque Arm Insert and Rear Sway Bar.

I've also read good things about fixed camber plates on the front. That will be my next mod.

Koni sport yellow shocks
NM springs
NM torque arm insert
NM sway bar
IE fixed camber plates
strut plates

the items listed above are installed on my non-s clubman, and IMO, worth every penny i've spent.

oh, dont forget to get some aftermarket or OEM 17" wheels with better grip tyres, which will enhance the look of the car and better corning. =]

note: IMO, as far as pricing goes, NM tends to be little bit more expensive than many other competitors like mini madness, tsw, and etc.

I already have the Torque Arm Insert (should be the first thing added!) so I'm thinking H-Sport 19mm anti-sway bar and a set of TRW springs.

The torque arm inserts are inexpensive, easy to install (cost me $20) at local garage, and make a very noticeable impact in car shifting and drivability. I'm just pacing myself so I can appreciate each mod in and of itself, and space out my expenses. All the mods listed are nice if you're going to track. If you just want performance then get the inserts, and wait for the AccessPort from ALTA, and upgrade your air intake. A throaty muffler if you like added noise -- IMHO. But if you're with BMW, I guess you know most of this already. Enjoy and motor on.

What do you want to do with the car and what is your driving style. Many just want an improvement in handling and acceleration and the usual vendors generally provide some decent upgrades. If you want to track the car, you should consider some more extreme usage products.

Definitely hard to find CAI for non-S. You can probably find drop-ins but DDM I think has one also.

Good luck.

All good suggestions but I'd add a short throw shifter to the mix.
