Justa Tuning?
 

Has anyone tuned a justa to run 93 octane?

91 is the recommended, but I rarely find it around here so I've just been using 93. Last night my boyfriend went off rambleing about getting my justa tuned for 93 and something about maps... :confused:

I only have half a clue what he's talking about. So maybe you guys can help. Has any one done this? Is it even possible?

There are some tunes for the MC but they seem to be hard to find. I've been running 93 in mine since day 1. Whenever I put 91 in it I don't get as good of gas mileage. I don't think you'd see any power difference if you were tuning JUST for octane.

I know the Dimsport Chip Tuner like RMW and Mynes use did not work on my 2009 "justa" -- It could not recognize the unit.

Been using 93 and not a problem at all.

91 is just the min octane you need to run. Running 93 is even better for the car. Keep running 93, as engine temps and outside temps rise the higher octane will help the computer keep the timing advanced for more power. The ECU in the MINI is very adaptive so it changes with all the different conditions.
