The major diffs between a DDM, aFe, and K&N CAI?
been looking into the CAI for my 06' MC and Ive made my decision to go with the aFe intake!.. I'm looking forward to it later this month... A nice little Christmas present for me!.. ha thanks guys, love the testimonies!..lol

i just got my own afe intake about 2-3 months ago
installed it and heard it roar.
omg it sounds AWESOME.

lol good! it's not that costly. i ordered mine from ModBargains. from where ive looked, modbargains happens to be the best value for the product. all in all, i paid around 183 including tax and shipping. good luck with geetting that extra green!
WOOOOO!!! I got it and intalled it in 40 mins or so. I LOVE the sound!!! And I love feeling like a gear head when I have no idea what i'm doing! I took lots of pics and look out for a "How To" thread.
Ok i hate to jumpstart an older thread but i figured it was better than starting a new one.
I have always loved the look of the AFE intake, looks more prof., but the ddm doesnt use the stock hose and the AFE does. Anyone know where i can get a good hose that WILL WORK for the afe intake?

and btw, some people say that after getting an exhaust taht the sound of the intake compeltely disappears.
well trust me that is NOT true. i mean to an extent, the intake's sound will be covered up by the catback's exhaust, but during the rev up the intake will swoop in and make it's sound. you'll just need to listen.
