Hey David, it was great meeting you! I wish I'd had more time to oggle over your gorgeous Cabrio.

Do you have the windblocker for the back seat? Just curious, as many people have decided against it due to the outrageous cost. I bit the bullet and got one, and it's great.

Hope to see you at the next event - let's go tandem.

S.

Matt:

As much as I thought Phil was a really A$$ to us, I don't want to create any bad feeling between our sponsor Meguiar's and their customer, but just because I'm not posting anything negative, doesn't mean that I'm saying good things either!

Well last night I went to the monthly MOALA meeting where a few of the members had attended our Autobacs event, and I gave them info about our upcoming Julian run, AND I told them about our terrible Autobacs experience. I asked the 50 members in attendance to think twice about shopping there. We got lots of support!

Oh DiD and Bar10Girl were there as well!

Sheryl:
I seem to recall that David (Cabrio) does have that thing in back.

Yep, I have the OEM wind deflector. And yes, it was expensive for what amounts to a coat hanger and panty hose, but sometimes you just gotta suck-it-up and open your wallet. (Which I do much too often for MINI stuff!) It makes a world of difference once you reach 50 mph and works much better than stuffing a sweatshirt between the seats.
