Who has the most miles on the Clubman, and how are they holding up?

I was just wondering how many miles people are racking up and how everyone's clubman is holding up.

8000+ miles since 10/27/2008. No issues thus far. Well other than creaking rear end caused by me fiddling with aftermarket suspension

13,500 miles since Memorial Day 2008...had High pressure fuel pump issue 1 month after ownership, currently "sitting on" and bad sunroof, waiting to get the proper fix when the weather gets warmer!
Mileage is great - 35ish mpg on long trips, average 32 mpg on commute!
Great car loads of fun, always turn to look at car after parking - to admire!

I believe I'm almost at 14,000 since last July and as for holding up - she's as happy as can be - just wanting some mods that her dad won't do right now.

We took delivery 2/27/2008 and the car currently has 9,200 troublefree miles. It has been rock solid. About a week ago the dealer performed its first scheduled service. Only problem was a failed right barn door gas filled strut, replaced under warranty.

The car drives, feels and looks brand new. Not a single rattle or squeak.

8,350 miles since election day (11/04/2009)...only flesh wounds so far. dislodged the bottom rubber bumper for the boot doors (wedged between the top of the rear bumper and the bottom door sill) whilst washing the car one day and have not been able to re-attach...lots of little nicks and pits on the windshield...several small chips off the front bumper and bonnet. no rattles, no squeaks, no noises. 42.3 average mph and 31.6 average mpg.

25000+ km since Feb 08. So far so good! Although doesn't look like the stock tires are wearing that great. Otherwise all is well.

17,000 miles since May and running good. No problems that the dealers haven't fixed. Clutch was replaced at 15,000 under a service bulletin so they told me.

I'm the lightweight here. 6200 miles since September 08. Amazing, just amazing. Like new! We'll put some miles on in a week as we head from Harrisburg to Orlando. I'll wave to all you Carolina Clubman's as we pass through.

Clubman S Manual picked up August 1. I've got 18,800 with 700 to go to scheduled first service.

Warranty work: replaced left front black plastic fender thingie after hitting a large puddle at high speed in the dark, replaced back cargo cover after one tab broke off in super cold weather, had Clubman door latch adjusted - all covered under warranty. Waiting for warm weather to see if the cosmoline is done leaking from the hood onto the right front black plastic fender thingie- told it will be replaced under warranty. Driver seatbelt is fraying on one edge - sure hope that's under warranty.

Stuff that wasn't warranty related: replaced one tire valve stem after aftermarket valve stem cap corroded the valve stem. Repaired one runflat after a siding nail went in headfirst. Have received a few dings from crap kicked up from the cars in front of me. Dinged up the wheels a bit on curbing until I could get accustomed to the car

Don't know who is responsible: front windshield is accumulating pockmarks at an alarming rate; received 3 small stars within the last two seeks from all the unswept road sand/rocks/pothole detritus.

Still haven't seen warping on the hood scoop but paying close attention. Have noticed engine is noisier at initial startup, which goes away once car is warmed up - kind of like old Audis, but will discuss with service tech next week.

Car is still da bomb. Putting on 1100 miles a week commuting and getting 35 mpg at 80mph on highway. Had it up to 130mph with still more to give(empty highway, straight section of road, clear conditions). Have occasionally had to skool Ricers with their hats on backwards. Handles well in snow with all season runflats. Still get 1+ admiring comment a week from all age groups. The runflats are a bit like driving on wooden wheels - would love to replace with non-runflats but haven't figured out the spare/no spare/green slime/TPMS issue yet.

WARNING:
I strongly recommend against the following tire valve stem caps - they set up a galvanic reaction with the valve stems, causing the aluminum valve stems to rapidly corrode to nothingness. Then when you twist them off the insert shoots out, sending air pressure to 0 psi and no way to refill.

Well, expected to see more higher miles than this. I am at 25k miles on 08 Clubbie S picked up in early August. Have had initial service and freebie oil change. Doing my own oil change tomorrow. NO problems to date, love my car. Tires are about done, but I do REALLY like to abuse them on on ramps and back roads. Have 17s and Dunlops to fit tomorrow. Going to have drivers door latch adjusted at next check up. It is not operating as freely as before. Also do notice engine noise, but think it will quiet with oil change at 8k miles. If so, will change more frequently. She does use a little oil, but I am ok with that. Total hoot to drive.

Right at 20K tonight, Aug 1st delivery. No issues whatsoever, aside from normal wear-replaced one windshield due to star that cracked bigtime when I hit defog one morning, and I'm headed to a body shop to fix a small ding and paint from an errant Costco shopping cart. Love Pelle, and will likely get another when he wears thin..hopefully a long time away, and they haven't japped out the clubman and variants by then.

12,xxx since beginning of august '08 and just got a new clutch. everything else has been minor (burnt out puddle light, lube on the club door switch, one instance of ice on the intake that went away after warming up). hopefully the clutch was a one time deal. i won't be too happy with buying new clutches every 12k...

Alpha Wave..
Where is the ding?
Is it through the paint
where you can see the
silver metal? And do they need to
paint the entire panel and beyond,
so it matches?
How much do they need to paint?
Just curious.
