help with minimania

I have heard good things about Mini Mania but despite having paid for the parts through credit card, they claim I have not paid for it. I have sent statements from my bank showing the payment has been processed, yet their computer system shows otherwise. SO, I just wanted to share my experience with you guys, just in case this happens to anyone else. I can do a charge back from my CC so getting my money back is not an issue since they said I didn;t pay anyways. Where else would you guys recommend that I get my Weber carb and intake, exhaust header and ignition from?

I would contact Graham or Doug at Heritage Garage http://www.heritagegarage.com/
or Mike at Seven Enterprises http://www.7ent.com/indexa.cfm

Cheers
Dennis

I agree with dbo either one of those places can help you out. Mike @ Seven has extensive experience with Webers having used the split set up on their Fortech race Mini for many, many years.

You're talking about some big money items. You might want to consider buying from Mini Spares in the UK. Visit www.minispares.com
Even with higher shipping cost you'll save more than enough in the parts to cover whatever shipping will cost you and still save some money.

Call Mike or Jack at Seven Enterprises; or Graham or Doug at Heritage. MiniSpares are good, however, they are in England and that can be a royal pain. Tech support from 7 and Heritage is excellent.

I am restoring a 66 Cooper S and have got half my parts from seven and half from Minispares. I cant say anything bad about either. Minimania is a bit pricey compared to the others.

Mini Mania Experience

  • I've found the folks fm MM I've talked with with on the phone to be very helpful...no disputes there
  • Checking the 7ent.com page, they don't show that they do Weber....they do show an HIF-6 kit that matches my setup exactly tho.....HIF-6 1&3/4 plus a water heated manifold and K&N cone ... let us assume they give you a decent needle
  • my last MiniSport flyer had a Weber kit listed so you may want to check there if you have decided to cross to the dark side
