Wow! Looks great OK! I bet you can't wait. (BTW- we've missed you over on our thread.  )

So looking at the whole project so far... what would you say has been the most challenging part? Is it the "putting it back together" part?

Miniola -

Have to admit - I check in on the thread once in a while to see what's happening. Can't believe y'all are still hanging out.......

I think it took 6 weekends to take Nigel down to the shell. 300+ pictures, more mistakes than I will admit to and I am 4 months into the reassembly with probably 2-3 to complete the project.

My budget needs a federal bail out plan.....:eek2:

Its been an excellent learning experience - and I am not the handiest mechanical person. It will get really interesting when I drop in the engine and try to fire it up :nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:

Personally, I do not think it has been something the average person cannot do - although I did no bodywork and paint! It sure will be fun to drive it again! It'll be the closest thing to a rust-free mini that I will have ever been around:thumbsup:

nice!!!! Damn, you have been doing all of that work yourself?? Hmm...I think I'd be with you on the federal bail out assistance , but wow...looks really really good.

I assume you didn't paint it yourself...would you mind mentioning how much it was to paint? (pm is okay too) I'm trying to get an idea for how far I'll be in the hole if I decide to get the car painted right -like the way you did.
