Parts and some questions on my new mini.

It has the original half back seats where can i get seat covers for it? Also i smell exhaust when i run it inside i was wondering if i took it to a local muffler shop in the us if they would be able to redo the exhaust? I also need new headlamps any suggestions on where in the states to buy.

Most US muffler shops don't do a very good job or use quality materials. Buy a system made for your car & replace it yourself. Suggested replacement = RC40 or similar

Buy headlamps at any local parts store...

If you have the original lamps, consider upgrading to halogen or xenon. They provide much better visibility. And if you decide to do that, seriously consider adding relay(s) in the headlight circuits instead of switching high amperage bulbs directly through the light switch and dimmer stalk.

Congrats on the Mini purchase. Now thew real fun begins.

I bought a full manifold back exhaust from 7 Enterprises (www.7ent.com) for $110. They shipped it cut in half and I had to get it welded back together for about $10 at a local muffler shop.

It depends where you live though. That exhaust is mild steel and will rust out pretty fast if you live somewhere they salt the roads. In Las Vegas, that's not that big of a problem.

RC40 is good quality and should last a bit even in the great white north. All minis came with mild steel exhaust systems as did most cars until this SS exhaust craze.... The RC40 also sounds great!
