Anyone going? I'm pre-reg'd ... Hopefully no one brings any C6 ZR-1s to a small car fight again.

According to the 2012 SOLO rules it says the MINI cooper S/JCW should be running in STX class not STU. I would double check with who ever is running the solo program, they may have been putting you guys in the wrong class. I know here in the Fort Wayne Indiana region I run STX with my 06 MCS.
Either way sound like a great time, wish I could make it up there.

It's just how the classing system at WCMC works, which is unlike SCCA or NASA. I've been meaning to talk to them about it, actually.
Just looking at the times, I'm too fast to be put in the "Under 2.5L Normally Aspirated" category. Either way, I got my *** kicked this weekends by cars on DOT R-comp tires.

Some footage of one of my (crappy) runs ... I ultimately placed 5th in a class of 13 cars against some stiff competition: a '73 Carrera RS on slicks, C6 GS vette, a C5 Z51 vette, and a Fiat X1/9 on DOT R-comps.
