Recaro Seats!!

Took delivery of a JCW Hardtop today with the Recaro seats in it! They feel great and look amazing!

Interesting!

It looks as though Mini removed the belt retainer loop up by the shoulder area.

When was your build date?

Aside from the shoulder support, they don't look like they'd be that much better than the regular sport seats. Good thing it's alcantara though.

They are much better than the regular sport seats. They have much more bolstering in the seat and the seat is significantly longer.

So far all the reviews have been positive for comfort level and support of the Recaro Seat.

I keep seeing pictures on NAM, I've got to get over to a dealer that's got one of these on their lot and sit in them.

Guess I have to sit in one to form a first hand opinion myself. Maybe when I come over to pick up a jug of coolant sometime this week

I'm pretty average as far as build goes for an Asian guy in his mid 20s, but the OE cloth seats in my R53 were plenty comfortable on the drive to my girlfriend's parents' house in Baltimore ... I think the only thing they need is a CG lock or some snap in Schroth harnesses for autocrossing.

recaro seats rock! Until you've tried them, you can't understand how good a seat can be.
