Fall is my favorite time to drive Sheridan Road, one of the nicest roads on the North Shore..

Come on out and join me on a fun Saturday morning cruise.

WHEN: Saturday October 20th, rain or shine
Meet at 9:30, get rolling at 10am

WHERE: Start at 1605 Sheridan Road in Evanston (a little south of the Northwestern campus). There is a tricky little one-way section with parking. Hopefully it will be quiet enough in the morning to get everyone in or close by.. Ending at Knauz MINI in Lake Bluff

WHY: No reason.. Just a chance to get together, drive, and take in the sights.

WHO: Anyone who wants to come out.. Old Minis, New MINIs, no MINIs.. whatever.

WHAT: Sheridan road, and some of my favorite little side roads along the way. Also a chance to stop by the MINI dealer and say howdee.

What Else?? This is NOT an official Chicago MINI Motoring Club event. No maps or route sheets. Bring along an FRS radio if you got one to help stay together (if you dont have one, that's OK). We will not be driving exceptionally fast, and we will try to stay mostly together. Probably a short stop or two along the way to regroup and enjoy the morning.


Post up if you are joining me so I know if it will be a small group or large group..

That's always been a great drive, but unfortunately it's on a Saturday and I don't think I'll be able to make it.

 

I should be able to make it. I'm a newer member. This will be my first drive with you guys.

I'll try to make it. I love that drive and take it home from work when 41 is backed up. I start a new job on Monday, so I won't get to drive Sheridan or Greeny Bay anymore. However, I have to go back to 2 Saturdays a month, so we'll see how much I want to gt out of bed

 

unfortunately I can't make it now have fun out there! the weather should be nice tomorrow.

ooohhh.. you installed the Megan Racing exhaust??? I heard a clip from another NAM'er and it really sounds nice....

Maybe I'll try to catch you guys on the way down to Sugar Grove next week... video camera for a sound clip, anyone???
