2009 Mad Dog Sat Vineyard Tour, July 11th

This years Mad :mad: Dog show in Kalamazoo is July 12th, so the Vineyard Tour is set for the 11th.

Even if you are not going to the Mad Dog on Sunday, I hope you will join us on Sat for this drive that ends just two hours east of Chicago

We will start Sat 9:45 AM CST (Chicago Standard Time) at Anderson's Orchard and Winery, 430 E US 6 Valparaiso IN 46383. Easy way to get there is take 80/90 or 94 to State Rd 49 South to State Rd 6, then EAST about 3.5 miles Anderson's is on the right side of the road at the top of the hill.

Lunch at Tabor Hill Dining Room.

I MIGHT be back in the Region by then. We are scheduled to be out of Irak NLT 23 June, so this is looking like a good possibility. The girlfriend and I have frequented Anderson's before and were discussing going back for a return visit when I get back so this would work out well! I'll ask her for her opinion of course though!

UPDATE

I know there are a small group from NW IN MINI group joining us and one MINI from MI are there any others thinking about it?

Follow Up, had a fun group of MINIs on Sat for drive. A 1st timer too. The rain the night before made a mess of most of the roads and left them wet in spots. It was a MUCH slower drive then in years past.

The Wine Stop's were great and lunch at the windows over looking Tabor Hill was really nice.

Hope for less weather mess next year.

Sunday at the show was very nice. Weather was sunny and 75 with lots of MINIs and Minis and 100's of other very cool and rare cars.
