Hello Jay,
The CE was not much more than a specially badged version of a JCW car. The reason being the GP had a low mounted intercooler that was not legal in Canada without MINI spending a lot of money on recertification.
Works4me had a Red CE #19 (or was that 20?) that in the end, had a whole ton of electrical issues rendering the car undriveable and MINI not being able to fix it. A few years ago, we saw it on sale with the special CE speedometer swapped out, rendering the car no longer a CE edition because it was the speedometer that had the car number imprinted on it.
I am not sure how many CE's are still running given the experience I saw of Works4Me's car.
I hope you find your car. Best of luck at it.

Welcome to all the new sign ins across the country. I wonder if we have enough people signed up across to country to do a MINI relay or geoCache thing. Like start in Victoria BC and pass a baton or something from MINI driver to MINI driver until it reaches St John NB, or Williams Harbour or somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean. And we can track it to see all the places it visits.

welcome Arky! How are you enjoying the tuning kit? I have my stock exhaust in the attic too. Not sure why I kept it. You should list it on the Montreal mini group on Facebook and hope for a local sale.
