I am relatively new to NAM but always has been a big Mini Cooper fan escpecially R53. I am in the market for Hyper Blue R53 JCW preferably competition edition. Please let me know if you have one or know of one for sale!

I'm not entirely sure, but OP referred to it in the subject line and I don't believe mine is a "Competition Edition", or if it is, I'm not sure how to tell :-)

 

They were a special edition JCW for Canada and only 64 were made. I thought I read in a NAM thread that only 1 of the 64 made was Hyper Blue.

They say JCW Competition Edition on the face of the tach with the #/64 below.


Edit: only one Hyper Blue with a white roof from a production mistake according to the thread. The available color combos were Chili Red/White, Hyper Blue/Black, and Astro Black/body color roof.

 

Mine's not that edition for sure. I have a Hyper Blue with black roof and no "Competition Edition" legends anywhere. It _is_ a JCW edition though.
