Let's Motor, Vancouver area MINIs.
 

A route has been planned for a drive through some twisty roads and hills that don't involve snow. A couple of MINIs in our group are GPs with supersoft tires that don't do well at very cold temps.

Anybody (MINI drivers please) in the Vancouver BC area interested in joining us for a drive, please feel free to meet up with Size MINI Club at Moscrop Secondary School's parking lot in Burnaby at 10am on Jan 31/16 for this drive.

Good Luck with the run but my Mini is on winter storage at the moment and will not see action until April 1.

We went over to Long Beach on Sunday. It was a great drive. Even better when you factor in the fact that since we bought it in mid October, we just haven't had the weather, or time to go! Makes it that much sweeter!
If you want to go sometime on the Island, give me a PM. Where are you located?

Totally agree! They should have "Mini" fares! Just 'cause we take up less space. :)

The Edmonton MINI club is planning a trip to the island just after May long weekend.

May 23 TUESDAY: Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Tofino, Ucluelet, Nanaimo
May 24 WEDNESDAY: Nanaimo, Duncan, Lake Cowichan track event, Victoria
We won't be doing a full track day this trip, but we will be doing something at the track on Wednesday. It will include a fun activity or two and a meal, either lunch or a BBQ. Cost will be less than $50.
May 25 THURSDAY: Victoria, Sooke, West Coast Road, Port Renfrew, Mesachie Lake, Parksville, Comox
Potential added leg up to Campbell River and back.
Possible crossing & overnight in Powell River, then Sunshine Coast in the morning

I just received an email from BC Ferries today. Looks like they might have some special sunrise and sunset fares. I bet they will be on weekdays though.

If we can get a group together, we'll drive and get an Island drive going.
