Should be picking mine on Saturday. I'll share the fun after a few turns around the block.
Mattsenpai- I was able to check one out during a press tour and it's not that bad out the back. If the tops up and you can't see then, just put the top down, makes the view that much better!

Sunnygirl, how'd you get those wheels with your order? Sweet looking car!
I also ordered a Chili Red cabrio cooper S but I couldn't spec those wheels so I got the Black Bullets.
Congratulations on your new MINI!!

The answer is that the view is kinda restricted. You can actually see better IMHO with the top up. I would not say it overly concerns me, but it is something you will need to adjust to.

Swooper - Looks GREAT!
We test drove MCSC at our MINI dealer last Saturday and it looked just like yours, even the interior with Auto. I'm sure there were some differences.
Enjoyed the test drive so much we went back to dealer and ordered CRB MCSC instead of CRB MCS Hardtop.
Can't wait for it to arrive!!!

There is no power outlet in the boot of the R57. Anyone know if the R52 had one?
Never mind. I found the outlet. It's mounted on the inside of the bumper sill (a couple of inches to the right of the left tail light). You cannot see it unless you stick your head inside the boot.

That's the same place the outlet was on the R52, give or take an inch or two.

I picked up mine yesterday! I snapped a few with my normal camera and my phone. Included phone ones here (not best quality) until I transfer from my camera....
I got to ride with the top down for a few minutes before it rained.

Congrads man. You got your Convertible and an excellent color choice at that.
You're going to be so happy for weeks to come. Still puts a smile on my face when I get in and lower the top!
