Sunday 8/22 Shaker Sq Brit car show Where Was Everybody?

Attended the Show at Shaker Square on Sunday. There were two Classic and two New MINI'S. Where was everyone? There are usually 7/8 New MINI's and several Classic ones.

I have to pick and choose what I do because of limited time I would rather do a driving event such as the driver school sunday

The Missymowse and I were there

however it seems enthusiasm for showing off Minis has waned. I could not make Useline but I heard that was pretty thin on Minis as well. The Scottish games had six. I missed the Kent show in May and the Medina show has been spotty the last two years. Never been to Ft Meigs because it was always the day after the Pub but with the Pub being moved to 6/18 I'll try to go next year.

Our cars are a blank canvas, and I've always loved seeing what everyone has done to make theirs unique. There's no other car like it.

I hope interest picks up. I've had so much fun seeing my friends and their cars the last few years. It's been a bit of a bummer lately.

Maybe the novelty of the Mini has worn off as it's not such an exclusive club anymore. Anyone ever get a return wave from Minis going the other way anymore?

I'd say that about 2/3 of the MINIs that I see wave back at me. Maybe 1/10 waves to me first.

Every now and then people wave. Every time someone asks me about gas mileage, a part of me dies.

And you know I'm all about showing off Tiny Blue Thing II (speaking of which, there should be a thread...), but I also work Saturday and Sunday pretty much every weekend unless I request it off wayyyy in advance. And Philbert rarely goes anywhere without me because then he would wander around like a chicken with his head cut off.
