MINIs in Korea

I just spent the past half hour looking at all the photos from Korea. The MINI community over there is just awesome  . I especially enjoyed the pics from the Seoul to Haenman run. Even though I was born in Seoul, I have no idea where Haenman is  . Is it a resort town? Man, I just wanna ship mine to Korea now.

I hope I'll be in a position to visit Seoul in the near future. If I do then I'll definitely stop by the dealership in Seoul. Is there only one MINI dealership in Korea? I guess I'll bring along a key when I stop by so they'll know I'm a owner

I'll definitely check out this section of the forum more often. I'm really looking forward to more pics.

There are 2 shops in South Korea. One is on Gangnam in Seoul, it is the head shop. The other is on Bundang in Gyounggi-do.
You can meet some NAMers in Korea.
Bluepolo will post many pictures soon. I am waiting for it, too.

Does Korean spec MINIs have options not available in the U.S.? Such as rear view camera and power fold mirrors (yeah I know they're available now on the R56 and 2007 convertibles).

I think I read somewhere that MINIs sold in Korea are pre-speced. Is that true?

Almost all MINIs are "cookie cutter" with the exception of getting the AeroKit and R90 wheels, etc. The do have the power fold mirrors as mirrors are "targets" in parking garages, and parking on the streets.
