WTB- Indie Blue Rear Bumper Cover "03" MC

I'm looking for a replacement rear bumper cover for my 03 Cooper. Would prefer Indie Blue but would consider other color if price is right.

I'm in Michigan (48021). I'm not sure if the MCS will work or not.

I understand that issue but isn't the exhaust openings on what I would call the skirt attachment to the bumper cover?????

hmmmmm... I could be wrong here, but I know some MC owners have installed MCS rear bumpers, so I'd gather all you would have to do is replace the rear valence in order for it to work properly with the side-mounted exhaust on the MC. Thoughts?

I'm going to make a semi educated guess that it would work.

This is the Vehicle Trim - Bumper of an 03 MCS

The Part # for the Geryed out Bumper cover is 51121177902 for a primered Non-PDC unit for an S..

Then we look at the same parts for a Cooper

And check the greyed out bumper cover Part # 51127048259 finding they are different #'s.

However, I know from direct experience that an Aero Kit bumper cover from a Cooper does fit an S. The mounting points are the same with the exception of 2 lower clips the Cooper has the the S doesn't.

We aslo see that the black plastic valence is a seperate piece. Given that info I'd make a fairly confident SWAG that an S bumper cover will work on a JustACooper with a valence change.

I have an extra unprimed Aero Kit rear and a Space Blue standard S bumper in the garage. If you are near Dallas I'd be happy to lend them out fopr you to try.

I have a brand new primed, ready for paint, AERO Cooper bumper.

Far as I know, Cooper S bumper does not fit on a Cooper and vice versa.

FWIW, I installed an Indi Blue MCS bumper cover on my 2003 Indi Blue Cooper. I just removed the trim and swapped between the bumper covers. No issues--atleast going between the same model years.

the center section (contains the exhaust cutouts) of the black trim swaps between the two bumpers and lines up with the arches on the sides?
