I am selling/trading in my Mini Cooper S for a 335i and I'll be removing the audio system first. It consists of a Blaupunkt MP74 Bremen Mp3 head unit, a pair of Blaupunkt Overdrive competition series 6 1/2" Component speakers, a pair of Overdrive 6x9" and a Parrot bluetooth hands free kit. I believe the hands free is the 3300 model. All are in new condition. The head unit is the best sounding radio I have ever heard. It has digital self aligning eq's and digital noise cancellation. It is their flagship model and retailed for over $700. The speakers are also top of the line featuring Kevlar cones and lightweight shallow baskets. This system sounded incredible in the Mini with no need for additional amplification or sub woofers. For a complete list of specs on the radio or pictures shoot me an email. I can vouch for Blaupunkts audio quailty. I bought a Sanfransico CD-72 a few years ago and have stuck with blaupunkt ever since. Absolutely the best sounding headunit I have ever owned. Good luck with the sale!

 

Not to hurt the sale but my blaupunkt in-dash dvd stopped playing cd's after about 3 or 4 months. then they sent me a refurbished one back. Crappy support. But, it did sound awesome. Especially the surround sound for the movies.

 

Thanks for the support guys. The unit sounds amazing. As far as the Chicago in dash crapping out...they were not built in Germany, the were out sourced. Blaupunkt was trying to feel out their place in the in dash market. My friend, the blau dealer went through 3 Chicagos...they all had problems.
