How come such a difference? Does the "S" illuminate on these ones?

I've installed the cheap knockoff ones .......... they are very nice and well built, which I'm sure the OEM ones are too.

Congrats on the sale

Also just got an email from Moss and their "S" in the name doesn't light up , to me that is key how much extra that's worth over the OEM's..... not sure

how difficult are those to install? Where do they connect to the wires?
Thanks, Jcs

Not bad, take your time and make sure you place them straight. I did not drill a hole for the wire to pass through the welded seam. I protected the edge and the wire and ran it up and over the welded seam in an area where foot traffic won't happen.

I tapped the footwell light for my switched power, which also cause the sill light to come on with the door opening. I believe the wire was brown with a yellow stripe, but it'll be easy to check. Use a small plastic prying tool and slide the footwell light towards one side and lift with the prying tool. The light will pop right out.

BTW, this is a great time to check for and repair any rust developing at the seam welds.
