03+ Head Unit

Looking for an 2003 and above head unit. You know your old one is sitting in the attic collecting dust...let us poor 02' owners get one so we can have AUX input! I can't use a FM transmitter anymore, I need aux for my poor under used mp3 player.

Why dont you just buy an Aux jack from the dealer or audio shop. there only 30-40 bucks

I agree with the Aux jack but I would buy it here from Classic MINI because they have great service and they give NAM members a discount so it would be less than their $39.99 list price.

Provides a direct audio input into the radio for MP3 Player, portable CD-Player or any other audio device which has an audio output. Only available on 2003 or later models.Price does not include installation.
This item fits years: 2003 - 2006

He has an 02. I don't think this works. I purchased a Blitz adaptor for my ipod at BestBuy for about 70$. It plugs into the CD changer interface in the boot. I think they have items for the L/R channel if you don't have an ipod.

strz0001 is correct. 02 radios did not have the circuit enabled.

I suffered through the FM modulator as long as I could too Nick, good luck and here's a bump for a good cause!

Thanks for the bump, I may just buy an ipod and call it a day with the ICE connector. All the same someone must have an 03+ HU somewhere. I will try for a few more days. Thanks for the help!
