Also, if someone has a set of white ones and thinks it would be easy enough to paint them chili red (by myself, not really that interested in paying 120 bucks to get them painted in a body shop!) i'd consider that! Thanks!

 

I have a pair of Chili red caps from my 2006 cabrio
that i took of my Cooper , swapped them out for my union jack ones
HOWEVER
i was messing arround this weekend with them and spray painted them silver then spayed them black
Then brillo padded them back to red. ( making a mess of them )
i would offer them up for your consideration.
They are sorta all scratched to hell.

if i saw this message last tuesday they would be in mint condition.

let me know i can post a pic of them if your unable to locate any others

 

maybe get a vinyl shop to cover them red? that way if you get tires of them you can always take it off.

just a suggestion. I dont think it would cost much.

Haha, well i'm looking for new or great condition ones, the car is new, so I don't wanna put scratched ones on there. I'd rather not put vinyl on them, cause it'd be more trouble than just swapping out the covers if I wanted to switch them. Plus, doesn't hurt to have an extra set laying around. I can always sell mine if I fall in love with it, or vice versa if I hate it . Something tells me with the GP out more people with DS are going to like red mirror caps
