NEVER MIND ... GONE

(and as suspected, it is the oil temp sensor)

Take a look at the picture. I "think" its the MINI sending unit oil plug for the auxiliary oil temp gauge. I know I bought a spare one but can't remember where I put it

I have no idea if this is it or not. Markings say VDO, 6 - 24 V, max 150 degree C (sounds like an oil sending unit to me). It tried looking it up in RealOEM but cant find any oil temp sending unit. I do know its a different part then the standard oil plug

Whatever it may be, it is new and if you know what its is and want it, first PM gets it. If its some old piece of junk I have in the house, jokes on me. If not, this piece sells over $35 (Pretty sure but really dont know)

Perhaps it is Xenon HID light fluid regulator

Maybe even a Summer air Winter air tire pressure exchanger shutoff valve

Looks more like a water temp sender.
