Just thought to let you know that it might be helpful if you included your location.

In my local area, I think I'd have to PAY someone to take the OEM exhaust off my hands. :impatient

Me too, grabage guy wanted $50 to haul it away. I paid a guy $20 to use a torch to cut it into about 10 small pieces. Then each week put a piece in the garbage.

My 04 is in the shed

Damn thing weighs a ton..Luciky it is standing up vertically so it does not take up space...Will probably do the torch idea (I like that) ...what an abomination...This Pic was after I took it off in the garage...then had to lug it 100 ft to the shed...Then took a nap! Wonder what it really weighs...Milltech weighs a skimpy 31lbs!

Edit: Sell it to a boat shop...Great mooring for a boat!

Same issue with the one in Maryland, and I think there is one in Texas thats been availbe for months. I'd go for anything within a 300 or so miles though, I can't help but tinker (plan on turning an OEM into a complete custom) however I want an OEM backup in case I screw up.

I have an '06 S exhaust that I took off at around 400 miles. It's so new the lacquer isn't even burned off. It's free to anyone who can pick it up and use it. If I have to ship it, I'll have to charge whatever it costs to ship.

Dang, that's tempting Welsh, but the 06's have different hangers than an 03' correct? Have much, as far as modding the hangers would be required to fit an 03'? I would like to try to make a one-ball exhaust myself. I'll actually be in Springfield next Saturday!

I would take any free one that is local, in good shape and would fit an 05 MCS. Anyone?

Cody, I have no idea...but you could ask Waylen, as he put it on and knows his way around the new MINIs.

Not to screw up anyone elses' offer, but, I am in the Atlanta area and would like to donate my 06 "S" system to a worthy cause. Came off with 300 miles on the car. Tips are perfect. Will not ship, pick-up only. PM me if interested.

Dark, that is me that has the 03'. And that's what I was asking....I'm pretty sure the hanger's are different. In fact, I'm 99% sure they are. I was just curious to see what I could do to make them fit on my 03'.

find someone with the '05 hangers and use the '03 exhaust... easier to ship hangers than an exhaust
